This winter, as everyone needs a little pick-me-up, Darling Brewery has decided to host an event that not only fulfills your social obligations for the month, but also quenches thirst the way only a good beer can. On Saturday, 2 July 2016, Darling Brew and six other breweries will showcase their works all conveniently under one totally rainproof roof (we all know that rain is nearly always guaranteed in winter and rainy beer is not so lekker).
Darling is only an hour or so outside of Cape Town, and gives you the perfect opportunity to take a break from the city while enjoying everyone’s favourite beverage. Common sense says don’t drink and drive so why not stay over in Darling on Saturday night? Or even better, get there for 10am and enjoy a fun day out.
BREWERIES FEATURING AT THE 2016 DARLING BREW WINTER BEER FESTIVAL
Alongside these amazing breweries will be some of the tastiest food you’ve ever eaten. Why? Because beer and food just work together, especially when there’s lots of both. There will also be live musical performances, but there is no word on who features in the line-up just yet.
TICKETS TO THE 2016 DARLING BREWERY WINTER BEER FESTIVAL IN DARLING
Tickets are available online through Darlingbrew.co.za. A single ticket which includes a branded beer glass costs R75p/p. Everybody needs their mates, and Darling Brew knows the struggle: you and seven friends (for R500 in total) can gain entrance to the event, each get a beer glass, and have a private table from which to enjoy the festivities. For more info, visit the Darling Brew website, email them via tasteroom@darlingbrew.co.za, or call them on +27 (0)21 286 1099. The festival runs from 10am until 6pm.
