Club Unity presents 15 Years into the Future

Join the pioneers of one of Mzansi’s first super clubs at an epic EDM reunion jol at Mercury Live

The good folks behind Club Unity, one of South Africa’s first super clubs, are raising their glasses to their nightlife hotspot of past with a ‘15 Years into the Future’ reunion get-down on Saturday, 30 August 2014 at Mercury Live.

Club Unity (FYI: a super club is a nightclub owned and managed by a dance music record label) burst onto the scene in 1999, and although the venue closed its doors in 2002, its short stint was nothing less than spectacular – with the club bringing some of the world’s hottest EDM DJs and local producers together in one electrifying space.

Now, a decade and a half later, the team behind the music is set to reunite for an all-out, show-stopping, body-rocking jol. Guests should expect top-notch music from DJs who founded the event (some of whom will be returning from abroad to attend the EDM event), epic lighting and décor, CD giveaways, a well-stocked bar and super drink specials. What’s more, the event will also be live streamed on progressive local radio station Mutha FM for the duration of the night.

Guests can expect the likes of Tobie Allen, a London-born dance music virtuoso who will be flying out especially from Dubai for the one-night-only event, and Mutha FM DJ and ‘Master of Dance’ Nick E Louder. Not to mention, six other top-notch beatmakers are on the line-up!
