Cheap as Chips Market
Support local skaters and fill your wardrobe at the same time!
The creators of Cheap as Chips bring you another installment of the Cheap as Chips series of markets on Monday, 1 May 2017 (a special edition for Worker's Day). This market will feature clothes, food, retro items, games and skate boarding brands with extra special deals, all in the comfort of The Shred in Paarden Eiland.
The skateboarding community in Cape Town is huge, and this event offers you a unique opportunity to support the construction of DIY skate installations around the Mother City, allowing the sport to grow. Some of our most popular local skateboarding brands (and international ones too) will be in attendance to showcase their wares in the form of bargain samples and general items at amazing prices.
So far, 2Bop, The Kartal, Element and Revolution have confirmed their attendance, and more vendors will be released soon, so stay tuned! For those thinking with their stomachs (and there is no shame in that), you can bet that scrumptious delights await you. There will also be a sensational music performance by Cozmik. He will be hitting the stage around 4pm, so don't miss out!
Don’t try and kid yourself, everyone loves a good bargain, and this market also benefits a good cause so stop hesitating and make plans to attend. The venue does have a maximum capacity, so don’t wait all day, rock up late and get told that the venue is full. That doesn't sound like much fun.
TICKETS FOR THE 2017 CHEAP AS CHIPS MARKET IN PAARDEN EILAND
Tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event for R20p/p, and it'll cost you R50p/p of you want to enter the skate comp! The market is on Freedom Day so the hours have changed a little to 12pm to 5pm!
