The weather in September is usually bright and sunny. Grab your clubs, put on those outrageously patterned golf pants and head over the Milnerton Golf Course for a round of golf that will make a bunch of very lucky dogs extremely happy. On Friday, 30 September 2016, this charitable event gets under way at 11:30am and all proceeds go to Fallen Angels.
Fallen Angels is an animal shelter in Melkbosstrand (along the R27) and is full to the rafters of lovable doggies that desperately need and deserve homes. Until they find their families, they need food, water, shelter and love, all of which Fallen Angels provides. Just like every charity, Fallen Angels works mostly on donations. This Golf Day is the perfect opportunity to get involved with a worthy cause while getting in a round of golf at the same time.
The event will follow a four B alliance with a two ball count. Entry fees are charged per four ball (or four players) so get a team of friends together to hit a few balls on a golf course with one of the most speculator views of the mountain that you can find. On the day there will be prizes and ticket price includes dinner after the event has concluded.
ENTRANCE TO THE 2016 FALLEN ANGELS GOLF DAY AT MILNERTON GOLF COURSE
Entrance to play on the day is charged by four ball (four players) and it costs R1800. If you want to take part, please contact the organisers directly by emailing them on barryhendricks1@gmail.com or call them on +27 (0)83 448 2145.
