It’s time for the 10th Capegate Clicks Charity Run! Spend a day sprinting in the sun on Saturday, 1 October 2016 at Capegate Shopping Centre and raise funds for the Clicks Helping Hand Trust.
The Clicks Helping Hand Trust was established in 2011 to help mothers who didn’t have medical aid. The project has grown immensely since then and there are currently 150 clinics throughout the country that offer free health services to disadvantaged citizens. Capegate Shopping Centre is assisting the charity in raising funds with this uplifting fun walk and run.
Participants have the option of running or walking along the 5-km and 10-km trails. This event is open to people of all ages and everyone is welcome to bring along their pets and babies in prams. There will be water points every 3-km and marshals will be stationed throughout the race to make sure everyone stays on track.
The winner of the Capegate Clicks Charity run will receive a cash prize of R30 000! There will also be a lucky draw after the event where you stand a chance to win R10 000. If you don’t manage to get your hands on the awesome cash prize, don’t fret! Goodie bags and medals will be handed out to the first 3000 people to cross the finish line.
The race starts at the Pick n Pay entrance (Entrance 1) at the Capegate Shopping Centre and finishes at the Checkers entrance.
