Jan Keizer and Anny Schilder are bringing their beats back to South African for a spectacular 70s revival

Good news for old-school pop fans – BZN is coming to South Africa! One of the world’s best known bands is coming to delight Capetonian audiences with their Greatest Hits concert series. Jan Keizer and Anny Schilder will be singing their nostalgic croons from 24 October – 7 November 2015 in SA, with their Cape Town concert taking place at the Liqui-Fruit Amphitheatre in Paarl on Saturday, 31 October 2015. SABC2 presenter and singer Nádine along with kykNET presenter and singer Gerrie Pretorius will be featured as special guests during the run of this nationwide tour.

Accompanied by a world-class band, the Dutch duo will be trotting out hit after hit to delight die-hard fans and new admirers. BZN (Band Zonder Naam or Band Without Name) was formed in the 70s and has remained relevant and loved through the years, with their peak period during the 70s and 80s, when they received both gold and platinum awards for their albums. Primarily singing in English and French, as well as Dutch and German, the group has a strong fanbase in SA, who will undoubtedly be delighted by their return to our side of the world. Those familiar with their work will definitely be anticipating hits such as ‘Tonight’, ‘Waltzing Maria’, ‘Over the Hills’, ‘If I Say the Words’, ‘Blue Eyes’ and ‘A Young Girl’s Dream’. ‘Mon Amour’ was their break-out international hit, which continues to inspire old and new fans today.

BZN stands for Band Zonder Naam, which translates to ‘Band without a Name.’ The no-name act is far from anonymous, however, having achieved a thirty year music chart presence in the Netherlands, along with multiple accolades. Those familiar with their work will definitely be anticipating hits such as Tonight, Waltzing Maria, Over the Hills, If I Say the Words, Blue Eyes and A Young Girl’s Dream. Mon Amour was their break-out international and national hit, which continues to inspire old and new fans today.

Set to be a fun night out under the South African stars,  the concert will undoubtedly have you singing and dancing along to BZN’s greatest hits.  

TICKETS FOR THE 2015 BZN CONCERT TOUR IN SOUTH AFRICA

Tickets start at R175p/p and can go up to R325p/p depending on selected seating. They’re available via Computicket.com and selected Computicket outlets.

The concert in Paarl starts at 7pm and doors open at 6pm. It’s a 2hr concert, excluding the 30- minute interval.
