Blacks Only Comedy Show in Cape Town

Celebrate sensational laughs with David Kau and his hilarious line-up of comics in the Mother City this May

Black by popular demand! The Blacks Only Comedy Show is back on the Mother City’s social calendar for a night of non-stop laughter. Capetonians can prepare to giggle their chops off at the stand-up brand’s next world-class show at the GrandWest Grand Arena on Saturday, 9 May 2015.

Started in 2004, this popular comedic fiesta is as well known for featuring a range of seasoned stand-up acts as it is for introducing audiences to a handful of budding comics.

The Blacks Only Comedy Show was co-established by iconic funnyman David Kau in an effort to provide a platform for talented black comedians. And to this day, the line-up of funnymen and women cracking jokes and spitting satire at this great gig is still mostly made up of people – and puppets – of colour.

While the official programme is yet to be announced, comedy-lovers can look forward to seeing the award-winning David Kau reprise his role as head honcho and emcee on the night.
