Animal Welfare Society Stellenbosch 60th Anniversary Fundraiser

A gourmet picnic at Warwick Wine Estate all in aid of a new puppy facility!

On Saturday, 22 October 2016 Warwick Wine Estate plays host to the Animal Welfare Society’s 60th Anniversary celebration. The Stellenbosch arm of the Animal Welfare Society (AWS) has been serving their community for sixty years, and what a difference they have made!

Charity is always a rewarding endeavour, and this time, your contribution will go directly to funding the new building at AWS Stellenbosch dedicated to puppies. That’s right; a state-of-the-art puppy facility that will help deal with the massive inflow of little fur babies.

Warwick Wine Estate is one of the most picturesque wine estates in Stellenbosch. Spending a day lunching under the trees sounds like our ideal Saturday, and the charitable aspect just makes it even sweeter. Each ticket will get you a gourmet picnic lunch and a half bottle of wine (per person) to enjoy in stunning surroundings.

The development of their new puppy wing will mean saving so many lives. Many people don’t know this, but puppies need a whole bunch of vaccinations before they can interact with fully grown dogs. Currently, they share a building with older dogs and a dedicated puppy wing would mean being able to properly vaccinate the little ones before letting them play with their older friends.

Tickets to the fundraiser are available online via Urvenue.co.za for R500p/p. The picnic will start at 12pm. All of the proceeds from this event go to the AWSS and their adorable charges.
