Celebrate winter in style with One Ingredient and L’Avenir Wine Estate. Take a trip to the verdant Stellenbosch Winelands to L’Avenir Estate for an evening of phenomenal cuisine and class. Enjoy a delectable four-course dinner with celebrated chef Matt Manning, followed by a blissful night at the four-star lodge on Friday, 5 June 2015.
One Ingredient has become a household name in the Mother City. Usually hosted in Observatory, Matt’s now on the move as he’ll be hosting a once-off interactive dinner at L’Avenir. This dinner will give guests the chance to sample delicious dishes using one core ingredient (in this case, Willow Creek Olive Oil), and will be served in the estate’s cosy tasting room, warmed by a roaring fire. All the courses will be paired with the cellar’s award-winning wines as chosen by resident winemaker Dirk Coetzee.

WHAT ELSE TO EXPECT ON YOUR NIGHT AWAY IN THE WINELANDS AT L’AVENIR ESTATE
CHIC ACCOMMODATION: Aside from a mouth-watering meal, guests will also be treated to a night in the world-class lodge, which boasts elegant rooms, scenic vistas of the Simonsberg Winelands, a rim-flow pool overlooking one of three dams and a Boules court.
GORGEOUS GROUNDS: If the weather permits, take a stroll through the sprawling vineyards now adorned in their autumnal shades, or head to one of the dams for a moment of peaceful reflection by the serene, cobalt pools.
HEARTY HOME-STYLE BREAKFAST: If you’re not still full from dinner the night before, tuck into a farm-style breakfast with all the trimmings served on the deck or indoors, depending on the day’s forecast. Following the most important meal of the day, go for a walk exploring the grounds of the working wine farm.
