A Beau Day Out

A day in the Constantia Wine Valley is a day well spent!

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Africa Foundation, Beau Constantia is hosting a day filled with fruits of the vine, food vendors, and great music. Guests are invited to enjoy the estate on Saturday, 18 November 2017 with help from a musical line-up consisting of three of Cape Town’s most loved musical acts.

On the day, Jack Rabbit and Earthfire Pizza will make sure that all of your tummies are lined with something delicious. Whether it’s a classic margarita pizza or an Italian meatball sandwich, there is a culinary delight for everyone. Food and wine pairing is a thing for a reason, and the event is being hosted at a wine farm after all, so patrons can be sure to expect plenty of high quality Beau Constantia wine. Their range includes reds, whites and MCCs, which will all be available on the day. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, the organisers have made sure that you have a drink option too; Cluver & Jack Cider.

Now to the music. The line-up is a mixture of acoustic, folk and electro music, which means every music lover will have something to enjoy. Guests can look forward to sets from Watershed, Majozi and The Kiffness. Have a listen to some of the tracks you can expect to hear:

A Beau Day Out is all in aid of the 25th anniversary of The Africa Foundation. This very worthy cause is responsible for building countless classrooms across various African countries including South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, Mozambique, Zanzibar and Tanzania. Their focuses include education, conservation and delivery of vital services to underprivileged areas.

Please note that on the day, the Beau Constantia estate will be closed to all traffic. There is limited parking at the Constantia Nek parking lot (opposite La Parada). The organisers are advising that patrons make use of Uber.
