Lets Celebrate Soouth Africa’s youth – lets salute them with some great Youth Day celebrations taking place in and around Cape Town & The Western Cape.
The town of Darling is hosting a Youth Day Weekend with our legendary Tannie Evita with daily shows that include Aikonas’, Evita For President, Tannie Evita Praat Kaktus and Hello, so prepare your self for many laughs in Darling this weekend.

The Amy Biehl Foundation returns to us in celebration of Youth Day! - Dancers from The Foundation Project will be performing Traditional and Kwaito Dances in the outside trading area of the market, as well as displaying and selling their art work from their many art classes held through the year!
So come down the Market and celebrate Youth Day with who better then the young crafters and talented dancers of today!

Youth Day Celebrations - Celebrate Youth Day with the youth programme from City at Peace as they celebrate with music, hip hop, dance and poetry.
The music pieces will feature the reggae group, Crosby, choral group African Chord Melodies, Conscious marimba and Black Foot Clan.
Dance pieces will be performed by Ikamva Youth Street Dance group, Rainbow Arts Group, Dance for All and City at Peace.
Poetry readings will feature Langa Poetry Project, Sis’Nobuhle and Oscar Mpetha Secondary School poets.

Valhalla Park to celebrate Youth Day -The event will start with a march at 10:00 through Valhalla Park.
Three brass bands accompanied by drum majorettes and minstrels will march from Nooitgedacht to the corner of Angela Road to meet the Mayor who will deliver a keynote address at 12:45.
