A “Bizzare” encounter at Cape Town’s latest trance club
Starting on Tuesday the 7th February, Café Manhattan, Green Point will be hosting two hours of tasting and talking about all thing spirits. Whisky guru Bernard Gutman will take you through the history of whisky, from Iraq to America, from France to Scotland, delving into Single Malts, Blends and Bourbons.
The first evening starts at 6.30 sharp with whisky cocktails and snacks, then from 7 to 8.30pm Bernard will serve you five premium whiskies and bourbons, including Maker’s Mark, the original special recipe bourbon, and Laphroig, the World’s best-selling Islay Single Malt.
Every Second Tuesday a new spirit awaits
Every second Tuesday Bernard will introduce different whiskies, and then move into rum, tequila, vodka, brandy and other spirits. The full program will appear on the website below.
Whisky lovers can rest assured of an intimate experience with numbers limited to 12 people per evening. The cost of the event is R 180.00, payable in advance. Bookings close a week in advance so don’t delay, book through email address below.
