16 Oct 2005 - 16 Nov 2005
After many months of hard work, CapeTownMagazine.com will
officially launch on Friday October 14 2005 in Plus Coffee on Bree
Street. One of the highlights of the day is an exposition of the
personification of CapeTownMagazine.com; Molo.
The expo comprises
nine brightly coloured canvasses of this Molo, different for every South
African province.
Molo actually
personifies the aim of the site: to have
a
'(first) friend' in South Africa for overseas visitors. He shows people
what they don't read about South Africa in the overseas newspapers:
positive news on good developments.
Foreign media usually work from a 'bad news is 'perspective.
Molo
on the opther hand gives you the other side: not to promote or to
ignore certain developments but to show people what great stuff is
also happening in
this amazing country.
Molo also provides one with mind tickling, interesting and necessary information about South Africa.
The exposition on canvas around Molo will open at Plus
Coffee on 160 Bree Street Friday October 14 at 17h30, and it will
remain open until 17 November.
A limited edition of 60 of the different
canvas prints will be on sale for galleries, restautrants or private
individuals.
From: Monday 17 October - 17
November, 08h30-17h00
Venue: Plus Coffee on 160 Bree
Street
