This years' event will be held from 14 to 29 July, & during this period, both Madame Zingara and Cara Lazuli restaurants will offer set menus, the profits of which are donated. The three-course menu is R150, & includes a complimentary glass of wine.

Guests are encouraged to bring small gifts to put under the tree for the children of Ikamva Labantu, the beneficiary charity of Madame Zingara and Cara Lazuli. Ikamva Labantu strives to create positive social and economic changes in disadvantaged communities by working with & assisting community based programmes serving various sectors of the population - children, youth, families, seniors & the disabled.

The last night of Christmas is 29 July, & includes a buffet-style dinner & the best in local entertainment. The exciting line up of more than fifty performers includes hot new local Cape Town groups, Goldfish & Coda.

Madame Zingara's annual charity ball, has become the highlight of Cape Town's winter season, enchanting both locals & foreigners alike with its innovative production & breathtaking entertainment.
