How about the Garden Route for December Holidays

Friday the 16 December – Monday the 2nd January sees the Fancourt Family Fun Festive Season – yet another reason to venture up the beautiful Garden Route these December Holidays. Parents can relax while the children have the time of their lives at the Kiddies Summer Carnival where a rocket jumping castle, zorbing, waterslide, paintball-target shooting, and more will be on offer.

Sunday Summer Concert

Live performance by four top South African bands on Sunday the 18 December: Freshlyground, Watershed, Arno Carstens and Lost Property. This Sunday concert in the Garden Route will be held on the rolling lawns of Bramble Hill. Picnic Baskets will be or available or you can bring your own. Note: No alcohol can be brought into the venue but there will be alcohol on sale.

Christmas Day Lunch

Fancourt’s restaurants will be open on Christmas day and ready to impress with a variety of Christmas lunch options. Guests have a choice of an Italian inspired buffet lunch at La Cantina restaurant while those who prefer an unsurpassed fine dining experience can feast at the classic Henry White’s restaurant, where a traditional English set menu will be served. Also available on Christmas Day is an informal á la carte menu to be served in Morning Glory restaurant, as well as a traditional Christmas lunch buffet in the Ballroom.

New Years Eve Celebration

The glamorous Fancourt New Year’s Celebration is not to be missed. Guests will be welcomed at the Porters at 20:00 to start their ‘Dine Through Africa’ journey, followed by a special dinner spread on the Club Terrace, with entertainment provided by The Garden Route Trio as well as fire dancers. Count down the New Year at either the Club Lounge where The Garden Route Trio will continue to play or in the Ballroom to the grooves of a celebrity DJ. A ‘Sweet Spot’, presenting a variety of assorted cakes, chocolate dipped strawberries, super-sized cookies and more, will be available at both venues.

Tickets: R1000 p/p | R500p/p under 18 | Free for under sevens. Prices include dinner, wine, local beer and soft beverages.
