The best of design on film

The 2012 Design Indaba Film fest promises a laudable programme of design premieres kicking off on Sunday  19 February and running till Sunday 4 March at Labia on Orange.

Two inspiring design films will be screened every evening, at 18:30 and 20:30, for just R30 a ticket. A much talked about highlight is the African premiere of Urbanized, the final film in Gary Hustwit’s Design Trilogy. This series of documentaries includes Helvetica (2007), Objectified (2009) and is completed by Urbanized which takes a closer look at architecture and urban design and features some of the world’s foremost architects, planners, policymakers, builders and thinkers in a discussion on the design of cities.
