The annual festival was launched in 1997, then known as the Leipoldt Festival, named after the acclaimed writer, poet and doctor, C. Louis Leipoldt, who grew up in the beautiful town of Clanwilliam, at the foot of the Cederberg mountains.

Festival goers are sure to experience an unforgettable event with awe-inspiring music, plays and mouth-watering local cuisine.

This year’s Cedeberg Arts Festival in Clanwilliam will be honouring Hennie Aucamp, a great South African writer.
