The Cape Town electro scene is the envy of the rest of the country; we get all the coolest festivals, parties, innovative experiences and the fun really (we are kind of Cape Town orientated, it’s something to do with our name I think). On Friday, 30 June 2017 Fiction on Long Street is hosting Don’t Mind the Bass; the hottest SuperHeroesAreReal electro party this side of the Orange River.
SuperHeroesAreReal have been hosting bashes like this for years, and they are somewhat of a staple on the Cape Town scene. Their parties bring together hot new DJs and experienced favourites that put the ‘fun’ back into ‘fundamentally the best thing ever’. This event company/music representative label aims to get all the artists in Cape Town into the limelight; they believe that hard work and perseverance are the be all and end all. This lead them to their name and the idea that not all superheroes wear capes.
LINE-UP AT THE 2017 DON’T MIND THE BASS ELECTRO PARTY AT FICTION
The headlining act for this show is none other than InviZAble. Never heard of him? Probably cause he’s InviZAble. He hails from a distant highland tribe and is here to rid the world of evil with help from his trusty synth and the latest high-tech machine weaponry. The soundscapes created are unlike any you have heard before; think electro music combined with keytar solos and visual excellence. Have a listen to what you will hear from DJ InviZAble:
