100 people each win an incredible experience over 100 days—and at the end of the campaign one person will win all 100!
Cape Town, 23 August 2011
Today local online magazine CapeTownMagazine.com in collaboration with CityMob (dealicious daily deals company) kicked off : '100 Days to Summer'.
The idea behind the campaign supports our vision of getting to know your city and surrounds; the prizes are all based in and around Cape Town, and the selection will truly get everyone in right spirit for summer. Cape Town prizes for Cape Town lovers.
Expect incredible offerings, such as an overnight stay at the Mount Nelson, a James Bond experience at Warwick Wine Estate, an overnight and Big Five Safari, snorkelling with seals, craft beer for a month, a keg of beer and six pizzas for a Champions League game, a spa experience for two...we could go on, after all we have a 100 of them.
And the cherry on the top? At the end of the campaign one person wins ALL 100 prizes. Yes, you heard correctly. Some lucky person will walk away with 100 tailor-made Cape Town experiences.
We love Cape Town. And we want to share her with you. Plus, we’re feeling very excited for summer, aren’t you? Why not make it an unforgettable one, see below on how to do just that.
How to enter: All you need to do to enter is to submit your email address on www.100daystosummer.co.za. You are then in the final draw – which will take taking place on 1 December. After entering you can invite friends to enter the campaign too. You get 10 extra entries for every friend that enters. The daily prizes can be found on both CapeTownMagazine.com’s weekly newsletter and the CityMob daily newsletter.
We’re not just giving away prizes though; we’ll also send you tips on how to win the daily prizes with CityMob’s daily deal as well as CapeTownMagazine.com’s new weekly newsletter, which has great things to do for the upcoming week as well as weather forecasts.
“What really cemented the idea for me was when a person in our team said to me: ‘you make me love my city so much again’,” says Marc Zandhuis, managing director of CapeTownMagazine.com.
Luke Jedeikin, managing director of CityMob, elaborates. “As companies we’re mates, creating value begins with great relationships, and that includes the companies and brands that see the opportunity to participate in conversations amongst communities of city enthusiasts. CityMob shares with its members daily offers on exceptional experiences in and around their city while offering businesses a short term boost in trade while CapeTownMagazine.com delivers year long reach both in local and international markets.”
“It’s a great match because of the differences in our reach,” says Zandhuis. “CapeTownMagazine.com has a tremendous monthly newsletter reach as well 12 000 followers on Twitter. CityMob has a big daily reach as well as a fantastic Facebook following.
“Let’s unwrap Cape Town together—and unclick the cliqueness.”
