The residential suburb Milnerton lies in the Northern part of Cape Town, right on Table Bay. The suburb is popular amongst visitors because of the splendid view of Table Mountain, the lagoon, the Milnerton Golf Course and the lighthouse.

The Lagoon of Milnerton is wonderful spot and a Walhalla for windsufers. On windy days, windsurfers from all over Cape Town head out for the lagoon to test the wind and waves. The lagoon is also a favourite amongst bird lovers as pelicans, flamingo's and other water birds reside here, apart from visitors staying at the Lagoon Beach Hotel

Apart from the lagoon, Milnerton in Cape Town has one of the best golf courses. The Milnerton Golf Course, opposite the lighthouse of Milnerton, is situated right at the sea. It is one of the most challenging golf courses, for one thing because the very strong winds.

The Milnerton Lighthouse is another highlight of the area. To prevent even more ships from wrecking between Green Point and Milnerton: Over the last centuries, over 150 vessels have wrecked on this stretch of coastline.
