Spier Wines Score Gold at Three Successive International Meets.

Spier Wines Score Gold at Three Successive International Meets. May was a runaway success for Spier Wine Estate with a triple Gold Medal win at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, followed by two Gold Medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine Challenge 2006.

Spier Vintage Selection Shiraz/Mourvédre/Viognier 2004 and Spier Private Collection Pinotage 2003 performed particularly well, with a Gold apiece at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, and Gold again at Decanter and the International Wine Challenge respectively. Spier Private Collection Chenin Blanc 2004 also won Gold at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

Spier Discover Continues Top Ten Run. Spier's winning run in the Sunday Times Top 10 shows no signs of abatement, with the Spier Discover White 2005 placing every week in the month of May. The Top 10 selections are made on the basis of recommendations by major retailers and wine specialty stores. The initiative commenced on 16 April; and Spier Discover White has appeared in every issue to date.
