Jardine Restaurant in Cape Town wins 2007 Eat Out Award
Cape Town restaurants win most of the top restaurant and chef awards
Renowned Cape Town chef, George Jardine of Jardine Restaurant, was named Eat Out chef of the Year for the 2nd year running at this year’s glittering ‘Foodie Oscars’ held at The Rotunda at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay.

Cape Town held the flag high with no less than 4 city restaurants included in the prestigious list of the 2007 Eat Out Top 10 Restaurants of South Africa.

No less than 3 local Franschhoek restaurants were top performers once again, including The Tasting Room at Le Quartier Français, which also scooped two of the main awards:

The 2007 Eat Out Restaurant of the Year and 2007 Eat Out Service Award.

Multi-award winning Jardine restaurant on Bree Street is widely recognised as one of Cape Town’s best dining destinations since it opened in 2006.
