KINK Bar Boutique in Cape Town
From cocktails to burlesque and secret parties, this new bar in Cape Town is provocative yet stylish

A few years ago
, if you were looking for hip places to patronise on Park Road off the trendy Kloof Street, establishments like Rick’s Café, the Pasta Factory, Greens, Hippo Boutique Hotel and 5 on Park Road would all be on your list.

Now 5 Park Road has been transformed into Cactus Café, yet another interesting Cape Town nightlife alternative with a bite.

Another new and exciting addition to Park Road’s offerings is KINK Bar Boutique, a sensual and du jour concept tucked away secretly in a beautiful vintage building at 3 Park Road.

Taking all that is KINK and housing its essence downstairs and in the secret courtyard, KINK Bar Boutique continues to offer the adult market the original KINK in the refurbished upstairs boutique boudoirs, while leading the tableaux vivant entertainment downstairs.

Using the sexy and exquisitely designed décor as an unusual stage, KINK will be enticing the public with evenings of boutique burlesque shows, which explore the ancient art of theatrical tease-cabaret nights and KINK confidential afternoons for those wanting to take a deeper look into their sensual selves.

While playing with creative and romantic expressions, KINK Bar Boutique invites you to explore your sensual self and indulge in fantasy, bringing the amazement and spirit of the Belle Époque back to town.

On weekend evenings, KINK reverberates to the sounds of DJ Charles Large (KINK’s own UK import and co-owner of this indulgent space) alongside a selection of fine local mixologists, who present an unparalleled line-up of whimsical and eclectic musical voyeurism.

The picturesque setting is sublimely complemented by the tantalizing picnic food offerings. Guests can playfully feed each other while sipping on any of the wickedly-named cocktails on offer.

So, if you are in the mood for cocktails and cupcakes, with a bit of slap and tickle, KINK is the perfect place to sip on a glass of late-afternoon bubbles, inviting you to discover the dormant bohemian in you.
