Harley Davidson's official dealer in Cape Town on Somerset Road, Greenpoint, is having two open days on 11 & 12 October 2008 to showcase the new Harley Davidson collection of mean machines.

The new 2009 range of Harleys has arrived and everyone in Cape Town with a motorbike license is welcome to pull in for a free test ride.

Classic bikes, tourers and other stunning new models; all of the new Harley models will be available.

Harley Davidson and CapeTownMagazine.com would like to invite you not only to see these powerful machines up close, but also to enjoy a ride on them – a real treat for any true motorbike enthusiast.

All the touring models have a new frame – the first since the 1960s – that Harley Davidson claims is 67 percent stiffer than the previous one.

You can expect a new swing-arm embracing a 180 mm rear tyre in place of the previous 160 mm rubber and a 17" front rim rather than the 16" that’s been there since the advent of the Glide.

The 2009 tourers have excellent feedback characteristics, telling you exactly what is going on where rubber meets tar. Come test ride the new 2009 range and feel the difference!
