Two million of the tickets for matches in 2010 will be available to the general public from mid-January 2009.

To buy tickets for FIFA 2010, fans can log onto FIFA’s website or use paper applications, which can be processed at various outlets in South Africa as well as internationally through agents such as tour operators.

Another 120 000 world cup tickets will be distributed to people who have been involved in building stadiums and roads for the tournament.

Various restrictions on buying tickets for the 2010 Soccer World Cup will be in place, such as a maximum of four tickets per household for each match for up to seven matches.
