Six World Cup Games in South Africa's North West Province
Rustenburg is the platinum capital of the world situated at the foot of Magalies mountain range in the North West province of South Africa. The town is surrounded by fertile land producing many different types of fruit and crops.

The Royal Bafokeng stadium in Rustenburg will be the stadium used in 2010. It is named after the Bafokeng people who live in the area. The stadium is only minutes from Rustenburg’s city centre and close to Sun City as well as Pilanesburg Game Reserve.

The Royal Bafokeng soccer stadium
was built in 1999. It will be upgraded slightly and will have a capacity of 42,000 supporters when completed in December 2008.

Rustenburg’s Royal Bafokeng soccer stadium will also be one of the venues for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup.
