The visitor centre of the Green Point Stadium has opened its doors to the public.

An excellent and informative tour takes you around the building site of the Green Point Stadium and shows you a virtual tour through the finished stadium hosting the Cape Town soccer games in 2010!

The tour of the stadium incorporates a short, but truly good performance taking you through the history of South Africa as well as the upcoming 2010 World Cup.

The tour of the Cape Town stadium that will be used in FIFA 2010 costs a mere R40 and is more than worth it.

A virtual tour of the 2010 stadium, multi-media theatre performance ‘The Greensman’, photographic exhibitions of Soccer Greats and a viewing platform over the construction site awaits you.

Tours are on from Monday to Friday 10h00 and 14h00 and Saturdays 10h00 and 12h00. Entrance fees are R 40 for Adults and R 20 for Students and Pensioners. Call +27(0)21-430 0410 for more information

Directions to the Green Point Stadium Visitor Centre
From the Green Point traffic circle take the exit towards the McDonalds, continue to the left almost immediately, and left again into the road going towards the Virgin Active.
Just before the Virgin Active, you will find Vlei road going to your right. Follow Vlei Road to find the Green Point Stadium Visitor Centre.
