Johannesburg Fan Parks 2010 World Cup
Soccer fans can go to one of Johannesburg's fan parks to watch the matches on big screen TV's
During the 2010 World Cup hosted in South Africa fan parks will be set up in every host city. Fan parks are enclosed viewing areas where all matches will be shown live on big screens.

South Africa’s aim is to recreate the party atmosphere of the fan parks set up in Germany in 2006 that was such a huge success.

Mary Fitzgerald Square in the Newton precinct has been earmarked as one of the potential Johannesburg sites for Fanparks during 2010. In August 2007 a fan park was set up in Dobsonville, in Soweto and was a great success; and Fan Parks in Soweto might be expected.

Apart from a Fan Park on Mary Fitzgerald Square in Jozi's Newtown, other Fan Parks in Johannesburg will include Innes-Free Park in Sandton, as well as Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown .

More information on the location of 2010 fan parks in Johannesburg to follow.
