Scenes Daniel Craig's New Film Shot in Cape Town South Africa
Scenes from James Bond star, Daniel Craig’s new film ‘Flashbacks of a Fool’ have been shot in Cape Town, South Africa
Daniel Craig signed up to play a washed-up British Hollywood actor in his new film ‘Flashback of a Fool', directed by Baillie Walsh. Filming took place in South Africa and England with Daniel Craig having visited Cape Town end of May and June to shoot some scenes.

Daniel Craig arrived in Cape Town for the shoots of 'Flashbacks of a Fool'. Having arrived 26 May with girlfriend and fim producer Satsuki Mitchell, Daniel Craig has done some interesting water shoots here in Cape Town for Flashbacks of a fool.

Craig, who won rave reviews for his portrayal of James Bond in ‘Casino Royale', has been cast in the film, entitled ‘Flashbacks of a Fool'.

Craig, 39, who is more in demand in Hollywood then ever before, plays a star in his 40's whose allure is starting to fade. He comes back to Britain for a funeral following the death of his best friend from his childhood years in an English seaside town. The experience sparks flashbacks of his younger years, and of a tragedy which forced him to look for a new life in the US.

The film, announced recently at the Cannes Film Festival, also stars British actresses Helen McCrory, Olivia Williams and Emilia Fox.

If you are wondering which hotel in Cape Town Daniel Craig is staying in, we can disclose now that Daniel Craig stayed at a large 10 bedroomed house in Llandudno. The house has former celebrity guests as Elton John and David Beckham.

The wrap party of Flashbacks of a Fool Film Production in Cape Town will take place at Cape Town's Roosevelt Club, so if you would like to get a glimpse of the blond James Bond come to Roosevelt Club in Cape Town on Friday 15 June.
