Dining in Cape Town offers a variety of enticing options, with a great number of culinary hot spots that cannot be missed. These are now joined by a new wine and dine hotpot in Cape Town: 'theshowroom' (lower case, one word) Bruce Robertson, former executive chef of the Cape Grace Hotel's One.Waterfront restaurant.

Under Chef Bruce Robertson, the Cape Grace's One.Waterfront restaurant became one of the best restaurants in Cape Town and beyond. A former advertising creative gone five star cuisine chef with a fresh tickle of open playfullness, his own 'theshowroom' restaurant in Cape Town will be an adventure for the taste buds.

CapeTownMagazine.com was the first to publish on Haiku online (later chosen best new restaurant in South Africa), and we are the first to let you know about theshowroom's restaurant opening.

These are enough reasons to be enticed by Bruce's newly, selfbuilt restaurant the showroom restaurant, situated on the new Harbour Edge Building in Cape Town.

We were given a little insight into the story and have witnessed the work in progress before it opened.

Glancing at the Bloomsbury 'Investment Cars', through one of the see through walls of the restaurant, we started to get an idea of how the showroom restaurant promises to be one of the most interesting new restaurants in Cape Town to dine in.
Most interesting is that Chef Bruce Robertson, will cook in an open kitchen in the centre of the restaurant.
