On the Move
Make education available for kids Kayamandi township in Stellenbosch
Besides wine tasting in Stellenbosch, you now can contribute to poorer segments of the community: send Kayamandi's kids to school!
Apart from tasting great wines in Stellenbosch, you now have the opportunity to contribute to the poorer segment of the community, in a very sustainable way.

Over the years Pochorus Community Development (PCD) - a non-profit, organisation in Stellenbosch - has done a lot of great work in the Kayamandi Township situated just outside Stellenbosch in South Africa.

The NGO is involved with several community projects as revolving around job creation, street children, computer literacy training, emergency relief and last but not least: The Khayamandi Scholar ship tour. It is here where you can help as through your sponsorships or donations, you enable a child to go to school. Education is one of the most sustainable strategies to support and empower a marginalized community.

As Pochorus says: "Education provides the children with the knowledge and ability to face the challenges in life and positively contributing to the upliftment of the community."

For R240 (35 euro's) a child's Highschool fees are covered for one year. For R180 (R 25) a child's primary school fee as covered for a year.
