Laugh, Learn & Listen: South African Anthem Online Karaoke
With the Rugby Final coming up on Saturday, CapeTownMagazine.com launched quite a ticklish video today to sing out loud Saturday

CapeTownMagazine.com launched quite a ticklish video online today.

It combines some goose-bump images and quotes taken from the 1995 Rugby World Cup in a Karaoke version of the South African Anthem to sing along to.

Molo, iconic spokesperson of CapeTownMagazine.com explains: “Every time South Africa plays in a sporting event, we still see people struggling to sing some parts of the National Anthem of South Africa.”

Molo adds: “Foreigners also love the different languages of the South African Anthem, and this video offers them an excellent way to learn the lyrics of the South African Anthem. You never know…we might even get all foreigners to sing our Anthem during the World Cup in 2010 if this works!”

The Rugby World Cup Final 2007 on Saturday with South Africa against England is the perfect reason to sing it out LOUD and PROUD, and we’ve created a fun way of seeing the words of South Africa’s National Anthem and enjoying it karaoke style!

Watch this great movie clip of the South African Anthem online , karaoke style (!) on CapeTownMagazine.com.

“We see (overseas) interns in the office secretly watching it (while working really hard of course) and the rest of the office humming the anthem without really realising. World Cup Fever is high and the anthem fuels our Bokke-pride. Moer hulle."

The video of the anthem and images will also be played at Rafikis Restaurant & Bar every hour on Saturday from 18.00 on all 5 screens building up to the kick off of the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
