Cape Town's MBA Programme Rated as the Best in South Africa
The Graduate School of Business in Cape Town has the best MBA Programme in South Africa
The survey, conducted by management publication Professional Management Review (PMR), used the feedback from some 478 line managers and HR leaders around South Africa.

The UCT GSB received an overall rating of 4.19 out of a possible 5 and received the publication’s Diamond Arrow Award.

Professor Frank Horwitz, Director of the UCT GSB, says the strengths of the School that have enabled the positive rating lie in the strong emphasis placed on building a culture of innovation, its international ranking and a focus on emergent market expertise.

“This South African rating builds on the outstanding progress the UCT GSB has made in top global ratings – these high ratings are a major endorsement of the high quality, innovation and service delivery standards at the heart of the School,” said Horwitz.

Horwitz added that the UCT GSB encourages a spirit of enquiry and believes in its people, who have the opportunity to create new programmes and courses and to research cutting edge emergent market issues.

In addition, Horwitz said that the UCT GSB values people who try and make a difference and help others, and the School is proactive in instituting teaching that goes beyond traditional business requirements.

Horwitz said that the impact being made by the UCT Graduate School of Business at the global level is fuelling greater interest from other top global business schools and has given rise to a plethora of partnership opportunities such as international student and faculty exchanges and collaboration.
