Welcome To Mount Nelson Hotel

Occupying a breathtaking site on the lower slopes of Table Mountain and set in nine acres of lush and tranquil gardens, the Mount Nelson is Cape Town’s most famous hotel, located just a short stroll from the historic city centre and vibrant Kloof Street with its array of up-market restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
The 201 luxurious rooms and suites offer garden or mountain facing views and leisure facilities include two heated swimming pools, two floodlit tennis courts, a body care centre, gymnasium with personal trainers, a golf practice net, two gift shops and high speed internet access throughout the hotel.
The hotel offers two restaurants – the Cape Colony restaurant offers an eclectic mix of contemporary Southern European and Western Cape trends, utilizing the very best of fresh local and international produce, whilst the Oasis restaurant, overlooking the beautiful gardens and swimming pool, offers the perfect venue for relaxed alfresco dining, ranging from extensive breakfast and lunch options, through to simpler health-focused meals.

The elegant Planet champagne & cocktail bar attracts local Capetonians as well as hotel guests. The bar spills out onto a magnificent garden terrace, allowing guests to take full advantage of the beautiful African night sky. The hotel is situated just 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. Air-conditioned chauffer drive vehicles can be arranged on request and complimentary return shuttles are offered to the V&A Waterfront and Cape Town International Convention Centre.
