These are to be settled in cash, travellers cheques or by credit card: American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa cards are accepted.
Automatic Teller Machines
Nedbank, Standard Bank and First National Bank machines are available in Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. All other local banking institutions are also available.

Check-in Procedure
Our guest check-in time is at 14h00. If rooms are requested prior to check-in time, early arrivals will be accommodated as soon as rooms become available.
Check-out Procedure
The check-out time is at 11h00. Luggage can be stored for guests who have checked-out, but wish to stay at the resort until later, by making arrangements with the concierge.
Concierge Desk
The Concierge offers professional assistance in planning and arranging leisure activities both on and off the property. The concierge can accommodate guest's requests for information or services in various foreign languages and this facility is available 24 hours a day.

Telephone Dialling Codes
Cape Town: National: 021- International +27 21-
Telephone and fax numbers should be preceded by the area code for Cape Town (021) if you are dialling from other centres in South Africa or by the international code (+27-21) if you are dialling from outside the country.
When dialling from a cell/mobile phone, land line telephone numbers should be preceded by the area code of the number you wish to dial. i.e. When you are in Cape Town you still have to dial 021 + the phone number.
Tipping
It is customary to tip waiters, waitresses, wine stewards, taxi drivers, porters and caddies. Depending on service, the amount should be around 10%. Petrol station attendants often anticipate a tip if they have gone beyond just filling your tank.
Value Added Tax
VAT, currently at a rate of 14%, is levied on most items and services, including hotel accommodation, goods and transport. VAT can be reclaimed by foreign visitors. Request a tax invoice for each purchase of R250 or more. Present the tax invoice at the VAT Refund Office at the V&A Waterfront, or at the airport prior to departure.
Voltage
The voltage throughout the hotel is 220V/50hz.
