This charming Art deco building, dating back to the early 1930s is only 2 minutes walk away from the famous Greenmarket square, the Company Gardens, the Cape Town Castle or the retail shopping in St Georges Square and the newly established Rhodes Mandela Plein.
Directions
• Follow N2 to Cape Town and take the Strand Street turn off. Go left until crossing with Adderley. Turn left into Adderley.
• Follow Adderley across Darling street, turn left into Longmarket. The Cape Diamond Hotel is 100 metres further on the right hand corner (c/o Longmarket & Parliament Street).
• Turn right into Parliament Street to find parking in the parcade across the hotel on your right hand side. For further information regarding the parking please contact the reception at the hotel.

Diamond House was originally built in the 1930s to serve as the corporate head office of one of South Africa’s biggest jewelry retail outlets.
Over the years it went through many transformations, but always maintained a spirit of grandeur that made you long for the elegant era when it was built. Today that elegance is back and the grand old dame has been transformed into a 60 suite boutique style hotel that pays homage to its gracious past.
Daily tours to Cape Winelands, Table Mountain and Cape Point, as well as shuttle services can be arranged upon request. Laundry facilities, restaurant, bar and conference facilities are also available on the premises.
• The rates are quoted per room per night, inclusive of VAT, but excluding 1% Tourism levy.
• The rates are excluding breakfast.
Reservations cancelled less than 30days are subject to the following conditions:
• within 30 days prior to arrival – 50% cancellation fee will be retained
• within 14 days prior to arrival – 75% cancellation fee will be retained
• within 0-7 days prior to arrival - 100% cancellation fee will be retained
• No – shows – the cost of the full accommodation will be debited to account
