| In the boma of Lesedi, by the flickering light of the fire, you will participate in "Nyama Choma" - the greatest feast and dance show in Africa, with a full bar close at hand. Dancing and singing to the perfect rhythm of the drumbeat, which can be very participative affair, creates the mood for the feast of traditional dishes from around the African continent.
This 200-seater restaurant, decorated in true African style, can be divided into three sections:
Nile Room, seating 40 people
East Africa, seating 60 people and
South Africa, seating 100 people

Traditional North-African cuisine, served in authentic style on low tables with tapestry cushions and mystical hookah pipes seating 40 people. |
Olive Forest
This area is normally used for an open-air Barbecue and is ideally suited for informal functions. Here, approximately 50 people can be accommodated. |

Hotel Lesedi Cultural Village has a selection of four conference venues to choose from:
- The Gaditshwene conference room which accommodates up to 120 delegates, this room gives honour to the colourful history of the Tswana culture
- The Ndaba Nkulu thatched rondawel, which accommodates up to 70 delegates
- The Nile Room comfortably seats 40 delegates on cushions with low tables for a different type of conference
- Musi's Ndebele Theatre which is suited for product launches and accommodates up to 180 delegates.

Team Building Exercises
A unique program of fun team building in the true African style - only at Hotel Lesedi Cultural Village
Masakhane Games:
- Spear Throwing - Teams experience the thrill of competing against each other in the ancient art of throwing the Isipaphe (throwing Spear)
- Shiaya Ukhamba - Teams enjoy the fun of competing in this African Drinking Game which teaches the traditional etiquette of beer drinking whilst competing to break the Ukhamba
- Hunting Party - Lots of excitement as teams learn how the young herdsmen used their throwing sticks to bring down game birds or small game. Test your own skills
- Stick Fighting - Nayi Nkunzi !! Here is a bull !! The traditional challenge to a bout of energetic stick fighting. Try it whilst your team provides enthusiastic support

Lesedi Cultural Quiz:
Watch the Theatre presentation and then there is lots of action as each team sounds their particular African instrument to signal that they can answer questions based on this African history.
Treasure Hunt followed by The Monati Experience:
Search for the "magic uKhumba" - undo the mischief worked by the Tokeloshe by solving the clues. |
Traditional Ingoma Dance Competition:
Teams are adopted by one of Lesedi's villagers who teach each team some basic African dance movements, followed by a dance competition.
Participative Story Telling:
Sit around an open fire to the sound of drums and re-learn the ancient art of the Umlandelo - the storytellers who kept the oral history, myths and legends of the African people alive through the years. |
Cultural Program
This program could be included into any conference whether at Lesedi or not and could also be tailored to suit each organizer's individual needs. A booking can be made for the full experience or any part thereof as required.
