Facilities
Flavours Restaurant:
'Flavours' is about bringing people together and celebrating what is good about life.
The Devon Valley Hotel's signature restaurant, 'Flavours', has a gentle, homely ambience and promises to offer GUESTS and visitors authentic, contemporary Cape cuisine in a picturesque setting.
The restaurant's focus is on bold flavours; celebrating classic, uncomplicated dishes and fresh, clean tastes. Best described as a concept of food which is essentially simple, yet where flavour always comes first.
In addition to the flavor combinations, the extensive wine list aims to complement the theme and please the most discerning of palates. We strive to the excellent tradition for which we were rewarded with the Diners Club International Wine List of the Year Gold Award for 2005. The hotel has been awarded the "Great Wine Capitals - Best of Wine Tourism" award for accommodation.
We invite you and your family to come and enjoy our popular Sunday lunch buffet, every Sunday between 12h30 and 15h00, for only R 110 per person. For any additional information or to make a reservation, please contact the hotel on 021 865 2012.

The terrace is a place to unwind after busy activity. If you can find the time for quiet contemplation, some much-needed relaxation, or a joyous celebration - the Vineyard Terrace has to be the ultimate destination.
Cedarwood Lounge: Formerly known by the quirky name - the 'Cat & Moose Bar', the stylishly decorated Cedarwood Lounge proudly boasts some of the most comfortable and trendy leather couches in the entire Stellenbosch Winelands area. This much-coveted and ever-popular seating area is highly conducive to long evenings alongside the cosy fireplace. The Cedarwood Lounge and Bar is also home to one of the largest collections of Single Malt Whiskeys in South Africa and is frequented by self-confessed whisky lovers from all over the globe. The enigmatic and fairly controversial beverage, 'Absinthe', which has fascinated and delighted people for centuries, can also be sampled here.
The Cedarwood Lounge will inevitably lay claim to quite a large portion of any unsuspecting visitor's schedule and a fair amount of time should be allocated for the thorough enjoyment of this wonderfully welcoming and cosy corner of the Protea Hotel Devon Valley.
