Classic and Family Rooms
The Metcourt Laurel offers 56 twin-bedded rooms, 5 king-bedded Classic Rooms and 16 Family Rooms(Deluxe). The rooms are furnished with two upholstered armchairs, a coffee table and a large desk. The en-suite bathrooms have showers over the bath, and dressing area is equipped with a handbasin in a marble vanity.
Other amenities include a hairdryer and a personal key-pad safe. The radio/TV offers a range of channels, including SABC 1, 2 and 3, e-TV, M-Net, selected DSTV channels and a pay TV channel.
The two premier suites: the Aventine and Palatine, each offer of king-size beds.
The Aventine and Palatine have a guest toilet off the entrance hall, a lounge with a four-seater couch, two large armchairs and a desk and an adjacent dining seat four people. Off the bedroom is a spacious dressing area which leads into a bathroom with a separate shower cubicle, a separate toilet and two basins set into an elegant marble vanity.
Extra amenities include a telephone in the bathroom, a hi-fi music centre and two televisions.
The presidential Capitoline suite offer a choice of two twin and a King-Size bed. It also has a guest toilet leading off the marble entrance hall, which leads through to the duck egg-blue carpet of the elegant lounge. Seating is provided by two large settes and three wing back chairs upholstered in cream damask and grouped around a coffee table. A television is on a half-moon table against one wall, and on another hangs a large mirror in heavy gilt frame.
On the other side of the lounge is the en-suite main bedroom with a large ottoman at the foot of a king-size bed. The room is furnished with two armchairs, another television and music centre.
Beyond the main bedroom lies the second en-suite bedroom with its twin beds, armchair and free-standing wardrobes.
