Game Drives
Exciting game viewing in open vehicles with experienced rangers, where you will enjoy wonderful sightings of lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, hippo, giraffe, zebra and numerous antelope species.Night drives are also very popular and can be arranged.
River Cruises
Join us on the Kariega Queen for a memorable early morning cruise down the Kariega River and enjoy the tranquillity of nature, whilst viewing the wonderful birdlife and game along the river.
Canoeing
Take a leisurely paddle down the Kariega River and spot our nesting Fish Eagles. |

Hiking
For hiking enthusiasts, Kariegas trails are a must.Walk safely amongst more than 25 species of game and wonderful birdlife on the non-dangerous section of the reserve.
Mountain Biking
For energetic guests, mountain bikes are available for your enjoyment. Enjoy the freedom of viewing game whilst taking a ride in the pristine bushveld, for an unforgettable African bush adventure.
Fly-fishing
This is a haven for fly fishermen.Enjoy tranquil and picturesque surroundings whilst fishing for your prize in the well stocked Kariega River.

Swimming
For water-babies or those just wanting to cool off from the hot African sun, dive into the river and revel in the beautiful river pools surrounded by pristine forests. For the less adventurous, relax at the sun-splashed communal pools. |
