Located on the edge of South Africa’s most famous national park, the host city will be a perfect place to watch the games during the 2010 Soccer World Cup, especially since the time of the year will be perfect for game (wildlife) viewing in Kruger Park.
The new Mbombela soccer stadium will be the first soccer stadium built of international standards for the province and the stadium will host its first big matches during the World Cup.
It will have rounded rectangular shaped seats, ensuring a good view of the games.
The soccer stadium is quite central and will be close to Kruger-Mpumalanga Airport, the city centre as well as the world renowned Kruger National Park game reserve.

The Nelspruit, Mbombela soccer stadium will be able to hold the capacity of 46,000 supporters and will be complete in May 2009.
