, defence, and security exhibition is moving to what many have called the world’s most beautiful city. Africa Aerospace & Defence – AAD 2008– will be held in Cape Town from 17-21 September.

The 2008 Africa Aerospace and Defence Air Show is set to attract around 15 000 visitors for the first three days (Trade & Static displays with 400 exhibitors from 25 countries) and 50 000 per day on the 20th and 21st (Static & Dynamic air shows).

The opening time for this fun-filled 2008 Airshow in Cape Town is 6am and you can find entrance gates on Koeberg Road and at Ratanga Junction.

The cost for the Africa
Aerospace Airshow at Ysterplaat is R50 for adults and R40 for pensioners and children under 12. These Cape Town Airshow ticket prices are a great bargain if you consider the cost of operating all the advanced aircraft that are involved!

The SAAF Rooivalk, SAAF Silver Falcons SAPS Air Wing, Skylane 182, TECNAM, Thunder City Buccaneer, Thunder City Hawker Hunter, Thunder City Lightning, USAF C130E and USAF LC130 – a truly magnificent list of awesome aircraft!

All of the major suppliers of civil and military aerospace, defence, and security equipment to the South African government will be represented in Cape Town by top ranking executives.

Make sure you purchase your 2008 Cape Town Ysterplaat Airshow tickets in advance for Saturday and Sunday. They are available at a discounted rate at Cape Town Tourism and NSRI offices.
