Around About Cars is our local car rental company in Cape Town and offers booking via an email enquiry form, which is easy if you have additional questions.

The Ford Icon is a sedan with manual gear box, has air conditioning, power steering and a radio.

Cost of the rental including options for insurance:

On standard cover: R170 + R20 for air con per day. Excess of R4500.

On super cover: R200 + R20 for air con per day. No Excess. This rental does not have unlimited mileage, but 200 km free per day.

Full cover: R246 a day (excess R2950).

Contract cost: None, which is nice, and cost for additional driver is R110.
Additional costs are: R110 for drop off / return.

Avis’ affordable Hyundai Atos has air conditioning.

Cost for car rental including insurance: R382 per day.

Insurance costs for partial and full cover including the excess payable.

Insurance waiver with an excess of R7017, 54 payable in case of theft or collision.

This contract does not have unlimited mileage, but 200km free per day.

Cost for an additional driver: R150

Additional costs: Drop off/ return: R143 within 25km from their office. R5.85 per km.
