Cape Town Fashion Week is back in August at the CTICC.
Virgin Mobile events aren't stopping there -Treat yourself to an early Christmas present by getting down to the 2008 Virgin Festival by Virgin Mobile, which promises to be one of the coolest music festivals of the year with some of the world’s hottest acts.
Leading stylish mobile company, Virgin Mobile, recently secured the headline sponsorship of acclaimed Cape Town Fashion Week, to be officially renamed “Virgin Mobile Cape Town Fashion Week”.
The fashionista event takes place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from the 13th – 16th August 2008 in what promises to be a major highlight in the 2008 fashion calendar, highlighting the best and trendy South African designers.
This spectacular event is now in its fifth year and provides a national and international platform for fashion designers across Africa.
The 2008 Virgin Mobile Cape Town Fashion Week has a new theme: “New World Africa”, which means both the redefining of the continent locally and internationally and also celebrates the opportunities of a 21st century Africa.
Because of its diverse cultural heritage, Cape Town is the perfect meeting place for the most dynamic and diverse groups of fashion designers in the world.
For the first time, the event’s opening day will be presented by the Cape Town Fashion Council, and will feature specially selected and carefully curated new South African designers showing for the first time.
