After four years of transforming the lives of trance fans everywhere, Groovy Troopers and Organik: Metamorph marks its fifth magical appearance with a supersonic weekend of electronica at the Wood Between Two Worlds, a venue otherwise known as a beautiful forest just outside Cape Town near Riviersonderend. The pulse of this popular two-day party – it starts on Saturday, 12 January 2013 and thuds to a close on Sunday, 13 January 2013 - draws its energy from around the world: Tron from Mexico, Natron from Germany and Rinkadink (Spain/SA) are the international headliners set to rock the stage; though, a handful of local deck shamans will rein over the crowds as well.

As always, shaded campground, a picturesque swimming dam essential for surviving in the summer heat and food, craft and clothing stalls are all present and accounted for.

More about Tron and Natron

Hailing from Mexico city, Tron started DJing and producing in the year 2000, and now, even with a decade of work behind him -  he’s seen everywhere from America to Africa – he continues to churn out sacraments to the great church of psytrance. This prolific artist has many projects, such as  Blind Roller, Floating Point and The ART Conspiracy, all  of which are well known among aficionados for their brave and ever-evolving style.

Natron calls Germany home and is one half of the now defunct trance duo Flutlicht; the pair found fame when they made the hit ‘Icarus’, which has been featured on 3 million compilation discs around the world.  This jack of many trades offers up the harder side of trance as compared to Tron’s varied, more dreamlike infusions. There’s no doubt the duo will make great foils, cultivating a festival experience  to remember.

• Take the N2 out of Cape Town and over Sir Lowry’s Pass.
• Stay on the N2 until about 18km after Caledon, then take the left turn towards Nethercourt; it is a dirt road.
• Keep going until you reach a T-junction, then turn right onto the R406 towards Riviersonderend.
• Keep traveling for 7km.
• The venue entrance will be on your left.

No glass bottles will be allowed, decant drinks into plastic bottles. No under 18s, IDs will be requested. No illegal substances, fires, fireworks, weapons and no domestic animals. Independent sound systems will not be allowed. Be respectful of the venue; no graffiti will be permitted and please, leave the bad attitude at home.Organisers will not accept responsibility for any injuries, death, loss or damage of any nature to persons, vehicles or belongings and this applies to negligence of any kind by promoters, venue and contractors.
